While men need to feel like they are needed, they also want to feel like you are fully capable of taking care of yourself, yet you choose to be with him. No one wants to be around someone who is always crying or yelling about this or that. You need to be able to enjoy life and take just about everything in stride. If you are happy and cheerful, your man will want to be happy and cheerful with you.

3. He is a man.

So let him be the man every now and then. Regardless of how useless you think a man is, they are actually fully capable of making dinner plans, or paying the tab every once in a while. A relationship takes two, so if you are always the one dictating everything, he is going to cut you lose.
